Pinotmaniac

In 2021, we took over a vineyard in Les Riceys: the first vinifications will take place in 2022, resulting in the Pinot Maniac cuvée in 2025. The wine is a blend of four parcels: Valmolin, La Gueule de Valmolin, L’Envers de Valmolin and Le Grand Valpreuse. It has a very delicate nose of wild rose (hawthorn, dog rose), evolving into morello cherries in brandy. It offers a surprisingly smooth attack, with a memorable grapefruit juice flavour; its texture is supple, relaxed and tender; it is more horizontal than vertical and progresses on the palate like ‘a veil of perfume’. Ideally served at 10°C.
